Sufficient time should be planned for the preparation and creation of a scavenger hunt. Experience has shown that at least three to six months' lead time is necessary.
In addition to agreeing on the course and organisation of the scavenger hunt, e.g. which activities the participating institutions would like to offer, the story should also be set to sound (recording of voice messages: Which programmes can be used to record the voice messages?) and suitable pictures should be taken or researched (Where can I find free images for the scavenger hunt?).
