What are hidden stations?

Hidden stations are optional stations that appear on the digital map in the app during the scavenger hunt as soon as the participants have completed a normal station that is in the immediate area of the hidden station. Places or locations where the participants walk past between the stations are suitable for hidden stations. This could be a park bench with a QR code hidden on it, for example, or other public places. Participants are alerted to the hidden station by a push notification and can then decide whether they want to discover it or not. The hidden stations are not relevant for completing the scavenger hunt. However, they add excitement and variety to the scavenger hunt and can be used in the same way as the normal stations to convey story content. Experience has shown that some participants decide in favour of discovering the hidden stations and some groups decide against it.
